Opportunities to live and study outside the United States are available to McPherson College students. One-semester programs (both fall and spring) for sophomores, juniors or seniors are offered at all the locations listed below, with the exception of Marburg, Germany, which has no sophomore program. The study abroad course code is **297 for all departments. The student and advisor must work together to determine which courses would be beneficial to the student and keep the student on-track towards graduation.
Once the official transcript arrives from the study abroad school, the registrar’s office will be in touch with the advisor for the coursework equivalencies. Please note: Study abroad official transcripts typically take much longer to receive than domestic transcripts. If the student is also an athlete, he/she will want to work with the study abroad institution as to not impact athletic eligibility.
One of the programs many students take advantage of is the BCA program.
